Cam Winton lives in the Fulton neighborhood of Minneapolis. He's married to Emily Pryor Winton. They have two young children.
Cam is a senior counsel with Duke Energy Corporation. Previously he was Vice President & General Counsel of Outland Energy Services. Cam and his colleagues built Outland into a leading provider of operation and maintenance services for wind turbines throughout the United States and overseas. Duke Energy purchased the business in November 2012. All 120 employees kept their jobs and shared in the benefits of the sale.

Cam is also the Republican precinct captain for Minneapolis Ward 13, Precinct 4, which is the northern half of the Fulton neighborhood in Southwest Minneapolis. In that capacity, he advocates for candidates that believe in providing ladders of opportunity for all, ensuring the government lives within its means, and letting the private sector be an engine of growth for everyone.
